Workshops and Training for Research Students

Faculty of Health Sciences Senior Librarian
Senior Librarians have subject knowledge and well developed information access skills and can help staff and research students access information from their desktops. Senior Librarians can:- Provide personal assistance and tuition in accessing information via library catalogues, databases, WWW etc. from your office computer, or conduct demonstrations and hands-on training for groups in offices or computer labs in the Division.
- Determine what local and remote information sources may be relevant to your needs.
- Provide information and demonstrations on information management software e.g. Endnote.
- Provide a ready channel of communication between the Schools and the Library and Information Service to help improve the quality of service offered to staff and students.
