Motion Analysis Lab

The motion analysis lab, viewed from the east

The Motion Analysis Laboratory of the School is a specialised research facility designed to allow the research of a wide range of human activities. The lab is circular in shape, with an upper mezzanine level accessible from the second floor of the building.

The main features of the lab include:


The motion capture computer, which is used for real-time 3-dimensional motion analysis.

The optical motion capture computer, which is used for real-time 3-dimensional motion analysis.

One of the 10 semi-infrared cameras that forms part of the real-time motion capture system.
