The Force Plates
Two AMTI force plates are located in the Physiotherapy Motion Analysis Laboratory (408.1510), see Figure 1. Each plate will produce forces and moments along all three axes, giving a total of 6 channels per plate. The output voltages are fed into two strain gauge amplifiers, one for each plate with their gain set to 2000x. Table 1 and Figure 2 show the specifications for the two plates.
