DAQ Computer

The data acquisition (DAQ) computer is a Pentium 4 1.7 GHz PC, running under Windows 2000 Professional. The acquisition software used is the Peak Software (v8.0.2), and also GDAQ2.6, a program developed in-house in Labview.

The DAQ computer contains a number of PCI and ISA expansion cards for various aspects of the analog and optical data collection:

  • DT-3010 32-Channel A/D PCI card
  • 2 x 4-Camera Optical Capture v.3 (OC3) Boards (ISA)
  • Pinnacle DV500 Video Capture Card (Composite, S-Video, DV (Firewire/IEEE1394), Audio) In/Out
