A/D Converter

The thirty-two channel A/D Interface Unit (ADIU, Figure 1) receives up to thrity-two analog channels and outputs the signals to a DT-3010 board in the data acquisition (DAQ) computer.

The analog signals from the force plates are input via the 15 pin connectors at the back of the ADIU (fig 2). These occupy analog input channels 3-14. Any other analog input can be used via the BNC connections on the back of the unit (input ranges must not exceed ±10 volts). The first two inputs are used to for the Synchronisation Pulses (1) and Event (Trigger) Pulse (2).
