Graduate Certificate in Clinical Physiotherapy (Manipulative Therapy)
Overview
This postgraduate course has been developed to promote the development of clinical skills and clinical reasoning in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. The course includes related biomedical content in anatomy, pathology and pain physiology which supports this area of clinical practice. The course consists of 4 units of 25 credits each. Three units are available in a flexible mode of delivery so that students can complete their studies at home. The units are supported by full access to library and other electronic resources.
The clinical skills unit, Musculoskeletal Science 751 can be completed on-campus in Perth. Alternatively, students who complete the Certificate in Manual Therapy offered by Manual Concepts will receive 25 credits of recognition of prior learning (RPL) for that unit, towards the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Physiotherapy.

How To Apply
Download and complete the Application for Admission to a Postgraduate Coursework Degree form. Both Australian and International students should use this form to apply for admission to this program. As participants are required to be on campus for four weeks only, and the remainder of the program is completed off-campus, International students are not required to obtain a student visa.
Course Requirements
Applicants for this course should refer to the information about health screening and the forms that must be submitted for Immunisation and Criminal Record Screening/Clearance sections of the Curtin Handbook. Essential learning strategies demand that all students disrobe appropriately to act as subjects for their peer group.
