Extension Studies
Undergraduate Level
The School of Physiotherapy offers Undergraduate level Anatomy units via Extension Studies. Extension Studies provides for matriculated and non-matriculated applicants to undertake study in a limited number of units. These units are available on a fee-paying basis, not for degree basis and may subsequently be used as a basis for applying to a degree course.
- Anatomy 151 (Semester one only)
- Anatomy 152 (Semester two only)
Anatomy 151 is a prerequisite for Anatomy 152. These units are 'internal units' undertaken on-campus. The contact hours for these units are four hours per week, two hours lecture and two hours in laboratory. Students will be expected to continue their study independently using the library and computer resources available (including listed URLs), in order to complete the learning objectives. It is recommended that students spend approximately twelve hours of study per week on each unit, including the hours of class contact.
