Special enrolment options for the Abbreviated Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) for Internationally-Qualified Physiotherapists program are available to strong applicants who hold a Diploma in Physiotherapy qualification from Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore. Entrance Requirements
Applicants must hold a Diploma in Physiotherapy from Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore. An Honours stream is available for applicants with exceptional results including completion of units in research methods and statistics in their Physiotherapy qualification. Applicants will need to indicate their preference to undertake Honours when they submit their application.

How to Apply
International Students
Applicants must complete an International Application for Admission form [164.0 kb], and submit it to the International Office at any stage throughout the year for immediate assessment.
A complete academic transcript and semester weighted averages for each semester of the Diploma course should be provided, as well as the names of two academic referees.
Permanent Residents
University Council recently approved eligibility of Australian Permanent Residents and New Zealand Citizens to apply for the Degree Conversion format of the Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) on a full fee-paying basis.

Course Requirements
Prospective students are advised that the program requires full participation in laboratory classes where manual skills and topics such as surface anatomy are presented. Essential learning strategies demand that all students disrobe appropriately to act as subjects for their peer group.
Prior to commencement in the program, students are required to have a current Senior First Aid Certificate or equivalent, as well as a swimming qualification to the Royal Lifesaving Society's Accompanied Rescue Award (Lifesaving Three) or equivalent.
Professional Recognition
Successful completion of this degree leads to eligibility for registration as a Physiotherapist in Australia. This program provides internationally trained physiotherapists with the opportunity to further develop clinical skills and theoretical knowledge. The program enables graduates to function effectively in the Australian system, with increased employment prospects and opportunities for postgraduate education.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are calculated on a per credit basis. The 2005 tuition fee for International Students is approximately $A95.00 per credit. The 2005 tuition fee for Australian Permanent Residents is approximately $A66.00 per credit. Payment is made at the commencement of each semester.
